Please note the Imperial County Public Health Department will be closed to all walk-in services for the public. Department staff will be available to provide assistance by phone to members of the community who have questions related to any of the Department’s essential services.

Phone assistance will be available Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The office will be closed for lunch from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. This shall remain in effect until further notice.

For current Imperial County COVID-19 data, please visit the Imperial County Public Department COVID-19 webpage.  The 7-day average of positive cases is currently 18.42%  The goal is to maintain a 7-day average of positive cases of less than 8%. 

 

The OptumServe Community COVID-19 test site is still accepting appointments.  Please note: Effective Wednesday, July 15, 2020, the COVID-19 testing site in Calexico will reopen!

Site 1:  Veterans Memorial Hall, 247 S Imperial Ave, Imperial, CA 92251.   Site 2:  Brawley Senior Center, 575 J. Street, Brawley. 

Site 3:  Calexico Community Center Senior Hall, 707, Dool Ave., Calexico.  

The test is at no cost and is available for residents with and without symptoms. Testing is available for all ages.   Register for an appointment at https://lhi.care/covidtesting or (888) 634-1123.​  Important:  Please remember to cancel or reschedule if you are unable to keep your appointment. 

 

The Imperial County Public Health Department continues to receive a variety of support from state and federal partners.  This has included, but has not been limited to, COVID-19 case investigation, contact tracing, data gathering and reporting, communications, and laboratory support.
