The primary responsibility of the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Agency is to plan, implement, and evaluate the EMS system in Imperial County. The EMS system incorporates ambulance companies, hospitals, fire departments, police departments and other public and private providers into an integrated and coordinated system of services. The mission of the EMS Agency is to ensure the highest quality of emergency medical care for the residents and visitors to Imperial County.
