Imperial County Immunization Coalition

The Imperial County Immunization Coalition (ICIC) was established in September 2005 to promote immunizations and good health for children and adults of the Imperial County.

ICIC?s mission is to foster collaborative efforts to ensure Imperial County residents and those seeking services in Imperial County are protected against vaccine preventable diseases.

The overall goals are to:

Achieve 90% up-to-date immunization rate for children by age 2; and reduce vaccine preventable diseases by raising immunization coverage for all residents of Imperial County.

ICIC is a volunteer-based partnership that includes but is not limited to healthcare providers, health departments, hospitals, businesses, schools, Women, Infants & Children Program (WIC), pharmaceutical companies, childcare organizations, governmental programs, and citizens committed to protecting Imperial County residents against vaccine preventable diseases.
