One of the components to the Our Choice project is the Our Choice Advisory Committee. The committee meets quarterly, with the purpose of providing input, and direction for the overall study development and progress.

Advisory Committee Roles and responsibilities:

• Represent community and organizational needs
• Set research priorities
• Provide input on intervention activities and evaluation methods
• Assist with study recruitment and other community relations
• Represent the work and values of Our Choice
• Approve manuscript and presentation ideas
• Participate on the development and writing of manuscripts and presentations
• Allow us to include your name on our website as an Advisory Comm. member
• Provide letters of support as needed
• Attend quarterly meetings (plus special meetings as needed)
• Participate in a workgroup
