Health Status Reports
The County’s Health Status Report shows the health of the community. Some things can be improved by public health efforts, like childhood vaccinations, which help prevent diseases like measles, mumps, and rubella. But other problems are harder to fix. For example, many people don’t have health insurance, so they can’t get care when they need it. This can lead to problems like not getting enough care during pregnancy or needing to go to the hospital for asthma. Also, more children live in families with low income, which can make it harder for them to get the care they need.
