Caring for Animals, Together

A woman is sitting down on a coach and smiling while showing her orange cat that has a bowtie and her brown dog is standing next her on the couch.

Caring for Animals, Together

At the Imperial County Public Health Department Animal Care and Control, we recognize that protecting the health, safety, and well-being of animals is a shared community effort.

We greatly value the partnerships and collaboration we have with more than 30 organizations, including animal rescue groups, shelters, animal welfare organizations, and veterinary clinics, that work alongside us to support adoption efforts, animal care, reunification services, community outreach initiatives, and veterinary care and services.

Through these partnerships, we are able to make a greater impact and continue providing compassionate support for animals and residents throughout Imperial County. We sincerely appreciate the dedication of our partners and their shared efforts to help improve the well-being of the animals and communities we serve.

Organizations and individuals interested in partnering with us to support animal welfare efforts in Imperial County are encouraged to contact us by phone at (442) 265-2655 or by email at icphd-animalcontrol@co.imperial.ca.us.
